Aadhaar card update: No document required to change these things

• New Aadhaar applicants, and existing Aadhaar Card holders, can book appointments at Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) for various services.
• You can change or update your address online (Only Address)

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows you to update name, date of birth and gender in Aadhaar card. Recently UIDAI had said that no document is required for updating photograph, biometrics (finger print and iris scan), gender, mobile number and email ID in Aadhaar.

• You only need to carry your Existing Aadhaar card and visit any nearby Aadhaar center to update details of these 6 services. 
• You can update or change address online. (In order to change or update address in your Aadhaar card online, mobile number is mandatoy as you will receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.)

New Aadhaar applicants, as well as existing holders, can book appointment at Any Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) for services like fresh Aadhaar enrolment, update name, address, mobile number , Email id , date of birth update, gender and biometrics update.

Any resident of India can walk-in or book an appointment online from UIDAI website. UIDAI has shared a video explaining the process that is followed at the Aadhaar Seva Kendras. A look at the service process at any UIDAI-run ASK.

-A person walks in an ASK to get his address and mobile number updated.

-He then proceeds to the token desk.

-On receiving the token, wait for his turn.

-He then proceeds to the portal desk, he is given an appointment.

-The next step is to proceed to the verifier.

-He then proceeds and makes payment at the cash counter.

-He then proceeds to the operator.

Mandatory biometric update of children- free

Biometric/Demographic or both update- ₹50
